Twitter Interview With a DJ

SO I met Ekom Adungide (popular known as DJ Freeskie) on Twitter, and in a short while, he accepted to grant me audience on Twitter on a show we actually formed under a virgin hashtag #ChatWithaDJ.

He’s remixed songs in clubs and parties, he works with Kiss FM Abuja. These days though, he goes by the name of Abuja’s No. 1 and tours the world as a DJ who favours the lush, melodic end of house, rap, hip-hop, minimal, techno et al. He was born in what is considered to be the most exciting time in music history, the ’80s. The Eket native from Akwa Ibom State is known all over the country for his show-stealing sets and believes that technology does make a DJ. For him, it’s all about the music, and his instinctive approach to his work has earned him a legion of fans in all corners of Nigeria. Keep your ears to the ground…
